On Saturday, May 3, 3-6 pm, I’m hosting a “Curator’s Afternoon” at Show Room Gowanus where the 2014 Brooklyn College MFA exhibtion is on view. We’ll have food, wine, and a panel discussion featuring Brooklyn College MFA alumni Sam Jablon (Class of 2013), Christopher Moss (Class of 2006) and Fran O’Neill (Class of 2012). Please join us.
Sam Jablon is an artist, poet and public interventionist based in Brooklyn. He has an upcoming show at Freight & Volume (Chelsea).
Chris Moss is represented by Theodore:Art (Bushwick) where he recently had a solo show of painted constructions.
Fran O’Neill paints, works at Life on Mars (Bushwick) and was the recipient of the 2007 Joan Mitchell Foundation Award.
“Possible as a Pair of Shoes,” curated by Sharon Butler. Artists include Caitlin Clifford, Christina Malfitano, Yeimi Salazar, Daniel Rivera Cruz, Emily Johnson, Fernando Pintado, Julie S.
