Invitation: “BIG TOP” at Dumbo Open Studios, April 13 & 14, 2024, 1 – 6 pm
This weekend at Two Coats of Paint, painter and Two Coats publisher Sharon Butler will have four new paintings on view in the front area, and, in the main gallery, she has organized “BIG TOP,” an exhibition of 13 talented young artists she met while teaching in the University of Connecticut’s MFA Program.
Butler’s recent paintings and drawings capture her perceptions of New York, focusing on the light, space, geometry, and her experience of the city.
