Two Coats Selected Gallery Guide: February 2021

Microscope: Yasue Maetake, Transmutations, installation view

This month Two Coats of Paint is unveiling a site redesign (big thanks to Heather Bause Rubinstein for the encouragement and technical support), which includes a fantastic new feature, the Two Coats of Paint NEWSroll. The ‘roll combines the newsiness of Twitter, the utility of the old RSS readers like Feedly, and the camaraderie of old-school blogrolls. The page, dedicated to content-sharing, is updated every two hours. Bookmark it to stay up to date with the best art sources from around the blogosphere. If you have a site you would like considered for inclusion, send us a note at twocoatsofpaint@gmail.com and put NEWSroll in the subject area. We’ve also posted the selected list of exhibitions for the next month, which includes Jack Pierson at Kerry Schuss, “Year of the Unicorn” (curated by Jen Hitchings and featuring her group of Studio Associate artists) at Store for Rent, and Jessica Dickinson at James Fuentes. My show, “Morning in America,” is still up at Theodore:Art, so head out to 56 Bogart if you haven’t seen it. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by, posted images, and joined the optimism of the moment. It’s in the air. See you out there. –Sharon Butler

NOTE: We’re having linking issues with old post URLs and the redesign. It’s a work in progress so please bear with us!
