Update: When I sat down to edit the video for “Becoming Modern in America” on Sunday, I realized that, due to my lousy video skills (and perhaps a little performance anxiety), some of the interviews were not actually recording. Luckily, Jason Andrew, the director of STOREFRONT and archivist of the Jack Tworkov Estate, had my back. Here’s Jason’s footage of my interview with artist Loren Munk, which I’ll add to my own (in the immortal words of James Kalm) half-assed video production. (Yes, Jason, too bad Tworkov isn’t in the painting:)
