Gallery Guides, Hudson Valley & Vicinity Gallery Guide

Hudson Valley (+ Vicinity) Selected Gallery Guide, April 2026

Bernay Fine Art: Phil Knoll, Poly Nation, 2022, watercolor and graphite on paper, 44 × 44 inches

Contributed by Karlyn Benson / Every month, it seems there is one day when there are so many openings and events in the Hudson Valley that it is physically impossible to attend them all. For upstate art lovers, this challenging experience is happening twice, on both Saturday, April 4 and Saturday, April 11. The first Saturday in April brings new exhibitions at SEPTEMBER, Philip Douglas Fine Art, Front Room Gallery, Jane Street Art Center, Headstone, Savage Wonderground, Perry Lawson Fine Art, G-Town Arts, and Bernay Fine Art. The following Friday, April 10 Spectral Resonance: Robin Kang, Lydia Kern, and Sophia Sobers opens at Maiden Lane Gallery, and on Saturday, April 11 there are openings at Hudson Hall, Ann Street Gallery, the Garrison Art Center, BAU, N/A Project Space, and The Reinstitute. See below for details about opening receptions and exhibitions this month. It’s the perfect time for a road trip to see art and enjoy the mild weather and spring flowers.
